With over 25 years' experience he has extensive experience and expertise advising on the financial services tax matters.He spent several years working in the UK and has extensive knowledge of the international financial services industry. Ted helps clients understand the Irish international tax and VAT consequences of transactions and how they impact their business with a particular focus on the practical application of his advice. His appreciation of non-tax matters such as legal, regulatory and commercial considerations helps ensure that his advice has a practical focus on what can be implemented. This delivers real value to his clients when dealing with complex, novel and emerging issues. He is a regular speaker, commentator and author on financial services tax matters, matters including author of IBFD's publication - Investment Funds & Private Equity – Ireland and editor of the Irish section of the Invest Europe Tax Benchmark Study.
