Special Areas:David specialises in the area of corporate restructuring and advisory and has over 20 years' experience.He has headed up BDO's restructuring department for the past eight years. David acts for financial institutions, directors and shareholders in contentious and non-contentious matters. He acts for and advises several of the financial institutions and private equity firms who have acquired Irish distressed loan books. David has sat on investment committees for several property funds. He works with several funds advising them on wind down and liquidation options for their SPV's. He takes on formal insolvency assignments, including receivership, liquidation and examinerships. He has acted for various financial institutions in both informal restructurings and as receiver in formal appointments. His advisory work includes business acquisitions and disposals, independent business reviews, financial monitoring, restructuring and refinancing assignments, company turnarounds, and implementing workout plans. Memberships:Chartered Accountants Ireland, Former Chairperson of Restructuring & Insolvency Ireland, member of INSOL Europe.
