Ager, Donna
Special Areas:Donna Ager is a partner in Walkers' Global Asset Finance team advising on Irish law leasing and financing of transportation (notably aviation) assets, the establishment of funds-based aviation platforms as well as debt capital markets transactions and related mergers and acquisitions.Donna is based in Walkers' London office and has more than 20 years' experience in aviation finance, including as a partner with an international onshore firm in the City, and as an in-house counsel to Airbus. She is recognised by both Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 and in 2021 she was awarded the Women In Business Law Awards - European Aviation Lawyer of the Year as well as Irish law Legal Advisor of the Year at the Women In Finance Awards. Prior to joining Walkers in 2023, Donna was a partner and head of European aviation with another leading law firm and partner in the asset finance team at Simmons & Simmons in London. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2001 before joining Freshfields, going on to work in-house at Airbus at their Toulouse headquarters, and then practising with Clifford Chance in London.
