Special Areas:Diann is a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial team at Flynn O'Driscoll LLP.Having worked in the legal department of the Irish concentrates division of The Coca-Cola Company, Diann joined Flynn O'Driscoll LLP in 2012. Diann works in the Corporate and Commercial team, specialising primarily in mergers and acquisitions and private equity and venture capital investments. Diann also advises on corporate restructurings, business structure and formation, corporate governance and compliance, joint ventures and shareholder arrangements, and general commercial contracts. Diann advises leading Irish and international clients, to include companies, private equity funds, angel investment groups and entrepreneurs, on a diverse range of corporate and commercial legal issues. Deals and Awards:Diann has advised on the following recent transactions:• Adviser to two venture capital funds on a €2m Seed investment round in an IT company. • Adviser to a number of private investors on a €30m Series A investment round in a Medtech company. • Adviser to a number of private investors on a €8.5m Series A investment round in a Medtech company. • Adviser to an early-stage company on its combined €8.7m Seed and pre-Series A equity and convertible debt fundraisings. • Adviser to an early-stage company on its pre-Seed fundraising. • Adviser to the shareholders of a voice and data services IT company on the sale of the company. • Adviser to a multinational renewable electricity and natural gas company in the auction sale of its Irish group. • Adviser to a telecommunications company on the restructure of its business and group. • Adviser to a private company that operates a chain of gyms on the restructure of its business and group. • Adviser to a private company on a debt fundraising and related secured lending transactions. • Adviser to a property development group on a number of equity and debt financing rounds.
