O'Shaughnessy, Niamh
Special Areas:Helping clients with the implementation of IFRS 17 is a particular focus for Niamh. She also specialises in other assurance non-audit services to clients with particular focus on Auditor Assurance (GL44) and Client Asset Reporting. She continues to provide high-level support to clients around IFRS 9, and is a regular contributor to working groups between the ICAI, EY and other Big 4 firms.Career:Niamh O'Shaughnessy is a Partner specialising in the Insurance and Banking sectors. Niamh focuses on providing assurance services to her clients across both Ireland and the UK, including Partner Re Group, Ulster Bank Ireland DAC and Investec Ireland Group.Niamh has more than 13 years' experience at EY and has significant experience across financial services, particularly leading large teams to deliver financial statement audits and other assurance engagements. Qualifications:Niamh is a Chartered Accountant and holds a first class honours Business Studies Degree from Dublin City University (DCU).
