Special Areas:Angela's areas of expertise include financial services, including private equity, asset management, aircraft leasing, debt securitisation, insurance and reinsurance, and financing companies.Career:Angela is a corporate tax partner with BDO Ireland and leads BDO Ireland's Financial Services Tax team.Angela has extensive experience in advising clients on the scope of direct tax obligations arising from operating in Ireland and interacting with group members abroad. She has assisted many companies in setting up business in Ireland and managing their ongoing tax requirements. In addition, Angela has substantial expertise in International Tax planning and structuring, advising clients on both the inbound and outbound tax implications of cross-border business. She has built up a network of key contacts in offices around the globe and can ensure that tax matters are proactively managed. Angela holds a BA(Hons) in Accounting and Human Resource Management from the National College of Ireland. She has lectured for the Institute of Bankers in Ireland on the taxation of funds and the Smurfit Business School in their master's programme.
