The firm's award-winning Insolvency and Dispute Resolution group advises on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious insolvencies and restructurings. It regularly acts for distressed debtors, creditors including institutional lenders or investors, liquidators, receivers, examiners or other insolvency practitioners and court appointed officers. It acts for clients at all stages of the decline curve from consensual restructurings and rehabilitations, to contentious and non-contentious insolvency proceedings.

We collaborate seamlessly with our colleagues across the Walkers Global network to provide effective, sophisticated, multi-jurisdictional solutions and consistent advice and work product. Our insolvency and dispute resolution team in Ireland has grown from strength to strength since inception in 2014 and is now widely regarded as a high quality specialist practice in the Irish market, both by domestic and international clients and competitors. The team is instructed frequently on the creditor side of significant insolvency and restructuring mandates, particularly for financial institutions, private equity clients and syndicated lenders. Walkers also work closely with many high profile insolvency practitioners, on heavily contentious appointments.
